Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi Technology (Xiaomi) announced the high-end smartphone “REDMI K100 Pro Max” equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in China.
The REDMI K100 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch (2608×1200) display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SM8850-AC 4.6GHz octa-core CPU, RAM12GB/16GB, storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, with a main camera of 200MP + 50MP+ This is a high-spec Android smartphone equipped with a 50-megapixel triple camera.
In addition, the model is equipped with a massive 9070mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, a triple camera with 200MP optical image stabilisation, a high-resolution AMOLED display with 185Hz refresh rate, an AI D2 graphics chip, and 2.1-channel speakers co-developed with BOSE.
The OS is Android 16 (Xiaomi HyperOS 3), and it is water and dust resistant, has 5G communication, USB Type-C connector, no earphone jack; and biometric authentication supports fingerprint and facial recognition.
REDMI K100 Pro Max Price and Release Date
Available in four colors: black, white, blue, and red. Launched in China in August 2026, the pricing details are as follows: 4,499 yuan (approximately 87,000 Ksh) for the RAM 12GB/256GB model. The RAM 16GB/256GB version is priced at 4,899 yuan (around 94,000 Ksh), while the RAM 12GB/512GB comes in at 5,099 yuan (about 98,000 Ksh). The RAM16GB/512GB model is available for 5,499 yuan (approximately 105,000 Ksh), and the RAM16GB/1TB variant is priced at 5,999 yuan (around 115,000 Ksh).
