Former IPOA Chairman, John Waiganjo, encouraged schools to move away from traditional pen-and-paper methods and embrace digital, paperless examination systems. This shift aims to significantly reduce operational costs, improve testing security, and keep pace with contemporary global economies.

He mentioned that this can extract all data and information regarding a child’s education from the storage facility, making it easily accessible for anyone who requires it. He added that schools can enhance their efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy by transitioning from traditional systems to digital platforms.
Waiganjo spoke when he donated and distributed computers to Cheragita and Ruiru Comprehensive schools in Ol-Joro Orok Constituency to encourage local schools to embrace emerging learning technologies.
He noted that digitized student information facilitates smooth record-keeping, allowing administrators and educators to quickly access essential data and make informed decisions in real-time.
He observed that this adaptability not only streamlines administrative tasks but also enables educators to tailor their teaching methods according to the needs of the students.
