Chinese OPPO-affiliated manufacturer Realme announced the 5G smartphone “realme 16x 5G” equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 in India on August 12, 2026.
The realme 16x 5G is a mid-range Android smartphone featuring a 6.8-inch HD+ (1570×720) display, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 2.4GHz octa-core CPU, 4GB/6GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a 50MP main camera.
This model features a large 7000mAh battery supporting 45W charging and a 144Hz refresh rate display and features waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof capabilities.
The OS is Android 16 (realme UI 7.0), there is no earphone jack, and the connection port is USB Type-C.
Realme 16x 5G Price and Release Date
Available in two colours: Glory White and Endurance Brown. It is set to be released in India in August 2026, priced at 25,999 INR (about 36,000 KSh) for the 4GB/128GB models, 27,999 INR (about 38,000 KSh) for the 6GB/128GB models, and 30,999 INR (about 43,000 KSh) for the 6GB/256GB models.
