WhatsApp has however made it known that the new functionality will only be available on the desktop version of the application for now.
To customize your pictures and turn them into Stickers on WhatsApp, simply:
- Log into your WhatsApp account via WhatsApp web.
- Once done, open the chat where you would like to send the sticker to.
- Once there, touch or click on the paper clip icon available on the left side of the microphone icon.
- As soon as the tab pops up, select the blue icon which is just above the gallery option.
- Select the specific picture or image you would like to customize. Once there, use the scissors to crop out parts of the image that you do not need.
- Next, touch or click on the “Send” button to send your newly created Sticker.
