- You must have a National ID Card.
- You must have an eCitizen account.
- You must be a Kenyan Citizen.
- You must be at least 18 years of age. If you are younger, you will need your guardian or parents’ eCitizen account and a birth certificate.
- The sum of 1,050 Kenyan Shillings.
- You must have copies of your identification details.
- You must have access to devices or facilities for printing.

To get a Certificate Of Good Conduct in Kenya, simply;
- Log on to the eCitizen portal via your eCitizen account. You can do so via this link: https://accounts.
ecitizen.go.ke/login - Once in, proceed to search for the Directorate of Criminal Investigations option.
- Next, select the ‘Get Service now’ option.
- Once done, click on the ‘Make application’ button.
- From the options available, choose the specific application you need which in this case, will be the Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Read and go through the instructions thoroughly, and then select the ‘Apply Now’ option.
- Proceed to fill in the information details that are required of you. These details include your location, where you would like to have your fingerprints taken, and specific dates. If you would like to edit the information you have provided, simply press or select ‘back’.
- Once done, submit the information you have selected.
- Next, you will be presented with a number of payment options including Safaricom’s M-Pesa immediately after you submit your information. Once you choose your preferred payment option, you will receive a prompt on your mobile device, which will enable you to complete your payment.
- After the payment has been confirmed, you will then be able to download the C24 form. The C24 form, is a fingerprint form that is made available after your payment has been confirmed.
- Next, proceed to print the C24 form that has been provided.
Do keep in mind that the documents can also be obtained from the DCI offices at Mazingira House, the DCI Headquarters at Kiambu Road, and from any Huduma Center in Kenya.
