The Paybill service on Safaricom’s M-Pesa platform, is a cash collection service that makes it possible for establishments to receive payments on a regular basis from users or customers via M-Pesa with no time limitations.

How To Deposit Money Via KCB Paybill Number
To deposit money into your or a KCB account number, simply:
- Deposit money into your Safaricom M-Pesa mobile money account.
- Next, open up M-Pesa in your sim toolkit. Alternatively, you can access M-Pesa via the Safaricom mobile application.
- Once there, select the ‘Lipa na M-Pesa’ option.
- Select the Paybill option.
- Next, type in the KCB Paybill number; 522522, and touch on the ‘Okay’ button.
- Once done, proceed to type in your KSC account Number in the space provided for account number.
- After that, type in the specific amount that you would like to send.
- Type in your M-Pesa numeric PIN.
- Confirm all the information you provided for the transaction. Once done with the confirmation, select ‘Okay’ to complete your transaction.
Upon completion, you will promptly receive an M-Pesa confirmation message including the transaction code, straight to your mobile device.
How To Withdraw Money From KCB To M-Pesa
Please keep in mind that you will need to register with the KCB M-Benki Service in order to withdraw money from your KCB account via M-Pesa. To withdraw money from KCB to your M-Pesa, simply:
- Go to M-Pesa via your sim toolkit. Alternatively, you can access M-Pesa via the Safaricom mobile application.
- Once there, select the ‘Lipa na M-Pesa’ option.
- Select the Paybill option.
- In the space marked as business number, type in the KCB Paybill number; 522522.
- Next and in the space marked as account number, type in your ID.
- Proceed to type in the specific amount you would like to withdraw.
- Type in your M-Pesa numeric PIN.
- Two messages will immediately be sent to your mobile device. One message will include your user ID and KCB M-Benki Pin. The other message will include the account number.
Congratulations! You are now officially registered and can now access this service conveniently by dialing *522#.
You can also get access to the above through the KCB Bank mobile application.
Once your KCB M-Benki account is activated, you can now withdraw your money to M-Pesa. To do so, simply:
- Type in the USSD code; ‘*522#’ on your mobile device’s dialer.
- Next, type in your KCB M-Benki PIN.
- You will then be able to access the main menu which will include a number of services.
- Among said services available, will be MyKash. Select the MyKash option.
- Via the MyKash option, you will then be able to select the M-Pesa option.
- Once there, you will be given two options. One will be to send the money to another M-Pesa number. The other will be to send the money to your own M-Pesa number.
- Proceed to type in the specific amount you would like to withdraw. It could be anything from 50 Kenyan Shillings, to 70,000 Kenyan Shillings.
- Confirm all the information you provided for the transaction.
- Upon completing the process, you will immediately receive a confirmation message on your mobile device.
