- Visit the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) website via this link https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/
- Once there, select the online results option on the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) side of the portal.
- Next, Log in using your login details.
- Once done, type in your Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) index number and submit.
- Your Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results will be displayed on the screen.
While you can download or print your Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results, you will still need to visit your school for the original results slip.

To check your Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results via SMS, simply:
- Send an SMS with your index number to the SMS shortcode ‘20076’. Keep in mind mobile service provider’s SMS rates will apply.
- A response containing your results, will be sent to you.
Please keep in mind that the initial results released, might be prone to mistakes. Due to that, the most legitimate results are those published in your hard copy results slip.
