The Communication Authority of Kenya (CA) has started a new hiring campaign. There are 25 job openings in different departments, from senior management to technical, legal, and administrative positions.
CA is looking for capable, proactive, and self-motivated people to fill leadership roles. They want both experienced professionals and capable junior staff. There are many different jobs available, so both experienced and early-career candidates can find suitable opportunities.
CA is responsible for regulating ICT, managing frequencies and spectrum, protecting consumers, overseeing cybersecurity, issuing licenses, and managing the universal service fund in Kenya. This means that people with backgrounds in engineering, ICT, law, finance, administration, or compliance may have a strong fit.
The job postings that were advertised cover a wide range of job types, including senior/director-level positions: director for universal service fund, director of competition management, consumer protection & corporate communications, and director of finance & accounts.
Permanent and pensionable roles such as deputy directors (in treasury management, consumer protection and empowerment, and planning and project management); principal officer-administration; senior officers (in organizational development and security); and several officer 11 roles in frequency planning and licensing, standards and numbering, cyber investigations and forensics, broadcasting licensing, and more.
Additional positions include administrative roles (e.g., property management, insurance) and support staff.
