American multinational technology company; Apple Inc. has announced the launch of Apple Music 1. Apple Music 1 was formerly the company’s flagship radio station; Beats 1.
Alongside the launch of Apple Music 1 in 165 countries the tech giant also launched two new stations. Apple Music Hits which focus on all the favorite songs from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s and Apple Music Country which as the name implies, will focus on country music.
Both stations will showcase numerous exclusive shows from around the globe, with top artists and music hosts.
Beats 1 evolved into becoming one of the most listened to radio stations on the planet after the launch of Apple Music. It has gone on to create and release global exclusives, premieres and in-depth interviews with artists in ways that had never been seen before, on a consistent basis.
The growth of Beats 1, also led to more positives relationships with artists and other creatives.
According to the Vice President of Apple Music, Beats and International Content; Oliver Schusser, “For the past five years, if ever there was a meaningful moment in music culture, Beats 1 was there bringing human curation to the forefront and drawing in listeners with exclusive shows from some of the most innovative, respected, and beloved people in music.”
Oliver added that, “Now, Apple Music radio provides an unparalleled global platform for artists across all genres to talk about, create, and share music with their fans, and this is just the beginning. We will continue to invest in live radio and create opportunities for listeners around the world to connect with the music they love.”
Apple Music 1, is currently led by its mainstay presenters; Hanuman Welch, Dotty, Rebecca Judd, Travis Mills, Ebro Darden, Nadeska, Matt Wilkinson, Brooke Reese and Zane Lowe. It also offers subscribers a variety of shows from big names like Lil Wayne, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Action Bronson, Frank Ocean, Vince Staples, Joe Kay and Elton John. New shows by Travis Scott, Lady Gaga, Young M.A, Kerwin Frost, Nile Rodgers, Aitch, Charlie Sloth, HAIM and a host of other creatives, are already on the way.
Host and Apple Music’s Global Creative Director; Zane Lowe said, “Apple Music is home — it’s home to artists, it’s home to fans, and it’s home to incredible music.”

The celebrate the growth and evolution of Latin music Apple Music 1, launched a number of shows across the globe. Some which are the show with J Balvin, La Fórmula Radio with El Guru, and ¡Dale Play! with Sandra Peña.
For the content coming out of the African continent Apple Music 1 launched Africa Now Radio with Cuppy. Its main aim is to help introduce the best artistes and music from the continent, to the rest of the world.
