The Infinix X1 Smart TV comes in 55 inch, 43 inch and 32 inch variants. At the time of putting this article together however, only the 43 inch and 32 inch variants were available for purchase in Kenya. Both variants will be the focus in this article.
Infinix X1 Smart TV 32-inch
The 32-inch variant of the Infinix X1 Smart TV is the most affordable varian when compared to its bigger siblings.
It comes with a 32-inch 1366 x 768 display which supports up to 250 bits of brightness. According to Infinix the display has a contrast ratio 3000:1 and is an 8 bit panel (16.7 million colour). It is also a standard 60Hz panel and has an impressive response time of 6.5 ms.
It also features 8GB of internal storage, a 1GB RAM, 1 USB 2.0 port, 2 HDMI 1.4 ports which are suitable for up to 4K content at 30 frames per second (perfect for standard everyday viewing) and support the Audio Return Channel (ARC), 1 LAN port, an AV in, 1 optical out and 1 headphone port.
The 32-inch comes with support for DTV-T2/S2 which in turns enables the smart TVs to support digital TV instantaneously. It also has WiFi capabilities and supports Dolby Audio, Bluetooth 5.0.
The 32-inch variant supports HDR10/HLG as well, alongside EPCI 2.0 Image Engine which makes content all the more enjoyable.
The Infinix X1 32-inch uses Android TV which is based on Google’s Android 9.0 Operating System. What this means is that all users will have access to Google’s Android Play Store and all of the applications available on it. So streaming content via Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and YouTube will be possible.
Users will also have access to Google Assistant as well as Chrome Cast which comes inbuilt and allows users stream content from their Android smartphones or tablets, straight to the TVs.
It comes in the black colour alone, can only use 55W and costs 19,500 Kenyan Shillings.
Infinix X1 Smart TV 43-inch
The 43-inch variant of the Infinix X1 Smart TV comes with the same WiFi support, the same Bluetooth 5.0, the same ROM storage size, the same RAM, had also had Chromecast in built and runs on the same Android TV which is based on Google’s Android 9.0 Operating System.
The only differences are in the ports available and of course the display.
The Infinix X1 Smart TV 43-inch variant, had 3 HDMI 1.4 ports as opposed to the 2 found on its 32-inch sibling, and 2 USB 2.0 ports instead of the 1 USB 2.0 port found on the 32-inch variant. Like its 32-inch sibling however the 43-inch Infinix X1 Smart TV has 1 Headphone port, 1 AV In port, 1 Optical Out port, and 1 LAN port.
It has a 250 nit 16.7 million colour display that is 43 inch with 1920 x 1080 and a contrast ratio of 5000:1 running at 60Hz.
It also has quite impressive audio capabilities with 24W speakers which support Dolby Audio, ensuring that users have an “immersive home theater experience.”
The Infinix X1 Smart TV 43-inch comes in the black colour alone as well, uses 74W of power (which is 34 percent higher than its 32 inch Infinix X1 Smart TV sibling), and costs 32,000 Kenyan Shillings.
All variants of the Infinix X1 Smart TV are also available for purchase via the Xpark platform by Infinix and come with two year warranties from Infinix.
Users of the Infinix X1 Smart TV can also use the Infinix Life app via the TV, by downloading it from Google’s Android Play Store.
